Maltbie's strong play continued in the singles flight as she won a No. 6 match against Kai Faulk in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2.
Adrian captured four of the six singles matches to get the team victory. Besides Maltbie, senior Amber Laginess downed Anna Thompson at No. 1, 6-2, 6-3; sophomore Makayla Jorgensen won a thriller over Caroline Johnson at No. 4, 6-1, 7-6 (7-1); and classmate Elena Bishop prevailed versus Betsy Richardson at No. 5, 6-3, 6-2.
