Bulldogs Win Non-Conference Match over Ursuline

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's tennis team got back to the win column on Thursday afternoon with an 8-1 non-conference win over Ursuline College. The teams moved indoors and the Bulldogs took quick advantage of Ursuline improving to 6-3 overall this season.

The Bulldogs cruised to a 3-0 lead after doubles thanks in part to a pair of 8-0 wins at the two and three spots. McKenzie Krieg and Kylee Bezeau were the duo at two doubles and Justine Hanson and Victoria Watson teamed up at the three spot.

The only blemish on the afternoon came at one singles in a 6-4, 6-4 decision by UC's Roslyn Ng over Arielle Williams. Three of the singles wins came at love (6-0, 6-0) from Bezeau, Krieg and Olivia Neumann. Renae Adams Almasy also claimed a 6-1, 6-2 win at two singles over Amanda Popik. The Bulldogs are back to the MIAA tomorrow at 2 p.m. against Alma College.
