HIGHLAND, Ind. – The women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday (Oct. 11) at Purdue Calumet by the final score of 6-3. The Bulldogs (3-1) took one point in doubles with an 8-2 win at the No. 3 position. McKenzie Krieg and Victoria Watson defeated Kasey Kulesa and Breanna Sanchez. Adrian had a close loss at No. 1 doubles, 9-8, in a tiebreaker. Kylee Bezeau and Arielle Williams battled Lori Haas and Amber Haworth in the tight showdown.
Haas and Haworth lost just one game against Adrian in the top two singles spots. Justine Hanson took a win at No. 5 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 decision against Kulesa. Watson also posted a win at No. 6 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph over Sanchez.
