HOW IT HAPPENED

The first half's stats were tilted in favor of the hosting Hornets. They led the shot on-goal count, 6-1. Ayverie Giller was stout however, stopping all their attempts.

It took less than five minutes into the second stanza for the Bulldogs to post the game-winning goal, on a Megan Louwers penalty kick. This is the squad's second penalty goal of the season.

Three minutes later senior Caroline Fleming added an insurance tally, aided by Eve Davis

Giller helped to secure Adrian's sixth shutout of the season, making a total of 11 saves, playing all 90 minutes for AC.
