ALMA, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team defeated Alma College 2-1 on Friday on turf, in a contest originally set for a Saturday matchup on the Scots' grass field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half was rather quiet, with the only scoring taking place in the final minute. It was the Bulldogs with the tally as Megan Louwers posted her third of the season, as 54 seconds remained on the clock. The junior's unassisted goal led AC into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
Captain Caroline Fleming posted her team and conference-leading 10th goal 11 minutes into the half. Fleming's score was unassisted and proved to be the game-winner as the hosting Scots responded 14 minutes later.
The Bulldogs led the corner count 3-1, while posting the most saves, 6 to Alma's 4.
With this win, the Bulldogs remain atop the MIAA with a 8-3-2 record, 2-0 in conference play.
