HOW IT HAPPENED

The opening twenty minutes moved slowly, but showed off a strong Bulldog offense. The span saw 10 shots, all by Adrian, four of which went on goal. AC finally made the board in the 26th minute as Caroline Fleming tossed the ball into the box, which was then redirected off the toe of Mya Oleksiak and put into the back of the goal by Eve Davis.

Davis and Fleming would connect again three minutes later as Fleming would chip the ball up to Davis for the eventual game-winner.

Fleming proved to be an offensive beast, recording her third and fourth points of the night on a goal of her own, coming unassisted with less than 15 minutes remaining in the opening-half.

The atanza saw two more Bulldog goals before coming to an end, with the first by Molly Safreed for her first goal of the season. Safreed's goal came with 12 minutes remaining as a give-and-go between Raquel Church and Sara Lee placed the ball at her feet in a nearly empty box.

Church and Lee would pen their names onto the stat sheet once again with the stanza ending fifth goal, as Church passed a long ball up to Lee who ran through several defenders and straight on goal.

The Student Princes were able to get one point on the board as Madison Zimmerman benefitted from an odd bounce after launching the ball onto Ayverie Giller in goal.

Adrian put the notion of a comeback to bed 20 minutes later as Makenna Mascaro collected her first-collegiate goal, collecting the ball from classmate Katelyn Louwers who was tripped up at the top of the box as she was passing off the ball.

Kristen Page recorded her second-career start and win, playing the opening 45 minutes, facing zero shots. Giller entered the game for the second half and made four saves, letting up just one goal.
