2016 Adrian Women's Soccer Schedule

ADRIAN, Mich.--The 2016 Adrian College women's soccer schedule is highlighted by an early- season road trip to the Keystone State, a four-game homestand as part of nine dates at Docking Stadium, and a round-robin Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association slate.

The Bulldogs will commence their 29th season at home on Thursday, Sep. 1, when they entertain NAIA-scholarship Lawrence Tech University out of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.

Adrian's first road trip of the season takes the squad to Pennsylvania where it will play Grove City College on Saturday, Sep. 3, and Westminster College on Monday, Sep. 5.

Adrian begins conference play against Olivet College on Wednesday, Sep. 7, and a three-game homestand at Docking Stadium continues with Hope (Sep. 10) and Alma (Sep. 12) colleges.

Then it's back on the road for the Bulldogs who close the month of September with four straight road games against MIAA competition: Sep. 17 at defending conference champion Calvin, Sep. 20 at Kalamazoo, Sep. 24 at Trine and Sep. 28 at St. Mary's-Ind.

Adrian begins October with a home date versus MIAA opponent Albion College on Saturday, Oct. 1. The Bulldogs and Britons also wrap up the regular season at the end of the month on Monday the 31st in Albion.

After the Albion home game, Adrian returns for a three-game road swing that includes Olivet (Oct. 4), Hope (Oct. 8) and Alma (Oct. 12).

The Bulldogs will then have their next four contests at home, including NCAA Quarterfinalists Calvin (Oct. 18), Kalamazoo (Oct. 22), Trine (Oct. 26) and St. Mary's-Ind. (Oct. 29).

Last season, Adrian posted a 5-9-6 overall record with a young squad that posted a school-record six ties and recorded the third-fewest goals (20) allowed in school history. The Bulldogs produced 11 clean sheets to equal the team record for shutouts in a single season and ranked 46th out of 439 NCAA Division III schools in shutout percentage (.550).
