NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Adrian College women's soccer team ended its Labor Day weekend road trip with a 3-2 victory over Westminster propelled by the foot of Junior Mackenzie Wilcox scoring her first career hat trick.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half: Adrian 1, Westminster 0
• Wilcox got the Bulldogs on the scoreboard in the final minute of the first half, she was assisted by Kimberly Lindberg
• Both teams recorded three shots and one corner kick in the first half
• Bulldog goalkeeper Ayverie Giller edged Titan goalkeeper Laura Page 3-1 in saves for the first half
Second Half: Adrian 3, Westminster 2
• Westminster tied the game in the 61st minute when Josie Banks scored off teammate Keely Birsic's pass
• Adrian would regain the lead nine minutes later when Wilcox scored her second goal of the game off the assist by Taylor Miller
• The Titans tied the game less than eight minutes later when Birsic set up another teammate, Sammy Creese
• Wilcox completed her hat trick with a game-winning goal just under two minutes later
• Westminster recorded 14 shots in the second half; the Bulldogs tallied five shots
• "This was a great way to end a challenging road trip," Head Coach Ali Alamdari said, "The match was back and forth, but we showed a commitment to our purpose regardless of the challenges all game long. We're excited to get back to campus and start MIAA play.
