Day Three of Women's Soccer European Tour Spring 2016: Bulldogs Visit Amsterdam

"Today was devoted to seeing Amsterdam and some of its major highlights. We started the day of sightseeing by taking a canal boat tour through the entire city. While on the canal boat tour, we learned some of the history and background culture of the city.

"After the canal boat tour ended, we split into several different groups to explore the city further. Some groups went and experienced the incredible story of Anne Frank and where she and her family hid during World War II. It was a chilling experience.

"Other groups went about to several museums and were able to see the artistic side of the city of Amsterdam. Rijksmuseum was a favorite featuring work by Van Gogh and Rembrandt, including Rembrandt's most notable work, Night Watch, valued at half a billion dollars.

"Many players were able to experience authentic Dutch food only available in The Netherlands.

"Overall, today was filled with culture and scenery that as a team we will never forget.

"We look forward to the rest of our trip! Stay tuned to more updates from Europe!!"
