Adrian College Women’s Soccer Lose at Albion 3-0

Albion, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team lost 3-0 against MIAA foe Albion on the road. Albion's Domenique Sarnecky provided the Britons with all three of their first half goals, her first in the eighth minute.

Sophomore Mackenzie Wilcox led the Bulldogs offense with four shots, two of which were on goal. Juniors Carlin O'Malley and Sofia Farah also contributed on offense with one shot on goal each.

Adrian produced the same number of shots as Albion for the game with each team attempting nine shots. The Britons just edged the Bulldogs in shots on goal 5-4.

The result of this match has the Bulldogs (3-4-5, 1-4-3) currently sitting in the seventh spot in the MIAA conference. Albion (6-5, 4-4) are currently holding the fifth spot in the conference.

Adrian will look to rebound Wednesday October 7 when they host the Comets of Olivet. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m.
