10th Win for Women's Soccer at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. - The women's soccer team cruised to a 6-0 win at Trine University on Saturday on a rainy day at Weaver Soccer Field. The victory gave Adrian its sixth straight 10-win season under head coach Ali Alamdari and keeps them entrenched into the fourth spot in the MIAA standings with an 8-4 record (24 points).

Senior forward Sam Barker recorded a hat trick totaling 12 goals for the Bulldogs this season. She scored at the 26:25 mark in the first half and then added unassisted goals at 54:23 and 55:48 for the Bulldogs' fifth and sixth goals of the match. Barker also assisted on Adrian's first goal at 5:29 from Alanna Chambry. It was Chambry's fourth goal of the season.

The Bulldogs led 4-0 at the break as Taylor Miller and Erin Weide also scored goals in the first half. Miller scored at 29:39 from Weide and Weide's goal at 32:48 was assisted by Abby Doebel. Lexi Lewandowski and Taylor Royce combined on the shutout in net making six saves between them. Adrian finished with nine shots on goal including four from Barker.
