OLIVET, Mich. – The first few minutes had the women's soccer team scratching their heads, but after giving up a quick goal settled in for a 4-1 road win at Olivet College on Tuesday. Alexis Nichols scored her second of the season at 2:29 with an assist from Emily Chzasz off a rebound on the first shot on goal. Adrian answered in the next few minutes at 8:39 as Erin Weide scored her 10th of the season off a free kick from 30 yards out by Amanda Seifert who got an assist.
The Bulldogs quickly added to their lead at 10:52 as Sam Barker notched her eighth of the season and 58th of her career from Taylor Miller. Adrian would add one more before halftime at 26:42 as Weide found the back of the net again from Carlin O'Malley. Weide's 35th career goal gave Adrian a 3-1 lead.
Abby Doebel finished the scoring at 67:37 with her fourth of the season with an assist from Aly Masciovecchio. Adrian converted four times on seven shots on net and also had 19 total shots. Olivet countered with 10 shots and four on net. Lexi Lewandowski made two saves in 71:04 and Taylor Royce finished the match in net making one save.
