Rice and Nuler Named All-MIAA for Women's Lacrosse

FREELAND, Mich. - Adrian College women's lacrosse sophomore Annie Rice and junior Annika Nuler were named to the All-MIAA first team the league office announced. 

Rice led the conference with 29 assists and is eighth in points (46) on the year. The attacker from Reisterstown, Maryland is tied for first in caused turnovers (15), tied for second in groundballs (28), fourth in shots on goal (35), and fifth on the team in goals (17).

Nuler finished the season leading the Bulldogs with 30 goals and tied for the second-most points (31) on the team. The midfielder from Canton, Michigan also led the team in groundballs (36) and shots on goal (47). She was second in draw controls (39) and third in caused turnovers (14).

With the selection of Rice and Nuler this season, Adrian women's lacrosse now has 11 All-MIAA first team selections since the league started to sponsor the sport in 2013.

This is the first All-MIAA team selection for Rice in her collegiate career. Nuler was a second-team selection a year ago.
