FREELAND, Mich. - Adrian College sophomore Annie Rice was selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's lacrosse offensive player of the week as announced by the league office.
The Reisterstown, Maryland native scored five goals and six assists in two big wins on the road that helped the Bulldogs to their fourth straight win in conference play.
Rice scored two goals and dished four assists in a 15-14 win at Albion. She followed up that performance scoring a hat trick and two assists against Alma where the Bulldogs won 16-9.
This is Adrian's second MIAA player of the week selection this season. It is the first time in Rice's career that she has been chosen for this award.
