BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Adrian College women's lacrosse team was defeated 15-3 on the road against Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. Mariesa Johnson scored two of the three Adrian goals in the losing effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Titans took a 10-1 lead into the locker room at halftime.
• Jenna Carter scored the only Adrian goal of the first half on a free-position shot just 3:04 into the opening half.
• The Bulldogs would slow the Titans down in the second half, only allowing five goals in the period.
• Johnson scored both of her goals off free positions.
TOP DOGS
• Amanda Tuckey led the Bulldogs with five ground balls. She also had one caused turnovers in the game.
• Annika Nuler had a team-high three draw controls for Adrian.
THE OPPOSITION
• Grainne Kelly led the Titans, scoring five goals in the game.
• Mariah Smith and Breanna Metry had a team-high three ground balls.
• Sara Dust led the team with four draw controls.
