WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Adrian College women's lacrosse team dominated Carroll 18-2 to gain its first win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Adrian scored all seven goals of the first half to take a commanding lead into halftime

• Carroll would crack the scoreboard early in the second half before the Bulldogs would score another seven straight goals

TOP DOGS

Alex Branum scored five goals for Adrian

• She also tallied three ground balls, five draw controls and one caused turnover

Jenna Carter scored three goals, had two ground balls, one draw controls and three caused turnovers

Annie Rice, Ava Cares and Margaret Krause all scored two goals each

• Rice also contributed two ground balls, three draw controls and one caused turnover

THE OPPOSITION

• Kailey Leahy and Karla De La Rosa scored the two goals for Carroll

• Shelby Schoob had four ground balls and three draw controls for her team

• Schoob and Katie Majewski led the team with two caused turnovers
