Women's Lacrosse Finishes Season with 15-5 Loss to Calvin

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Bulldogs took on Calvin College Saturday afternoon in their final game of 2015. Calvin scored 11 first half goals on their way to a 15-5 victory over Adrian. The Bulldogs saw three goals from senior Michelle Sandlin, but a seven-goal performance from Calvin midfielder Emily Ceferatti helped the Knights drop Adrian in their final game of the season as the Bulldogs finished with a 0-12, 0-8 MIAA record.

Sandlin and Alex Branum each scored in the first half for Adrian to help spark the Bulldog attack. Adrian would fight the Knights to a 4-3 score in the second half as Sandlin scored twice and Annika Nuler tallied her 13th of the season on a free position shot. The Bulldogs would hear two shots ring off of the post, but could not find the back of the net again as they fell, 15-5, to the Knights.

Alison Dungey totaled seven saves and three ground balls in goal for Adrian while Nuler led the defense with six ground balls and two caused turnovers.
