ALBION, Mich. – The Bulldogs started slow on Tuesday night against Albion College as they surrendered the first 11 goals of the game to the Britons. Adrian would not be able to fight back into the game as they would fall 16-4 at the hands of Albion and now stand at 0-10, 0-6 on the season.
The Britons would jump out to a 9-0 lead at the half and tally the first two goals of the second half to leave the Bulldogs behind. Goal keeper Alison Dungey would battle to keep the Bulldogs in the game as she recorded nine saves in the first half on her way to 13 save performance for the game. The Bulldogs would then find their offensive stride in the second half behind Annika Nuler as she recorded three goals, four draw controls, and caused two turnovers. Alex Branum would tally her 12th goal of the season, but the Bulldogs could not fight back into the game as they fell, 16-4.
Adrian will see action again on April 23 when they travel to Alma College to take on the Scots at 4:30 p.m.
