Elizabeth Szymanski Takes Over Women's Lacrosse Program

ADRIAN, Mich. - Elizabeth Szymanski takes over as the head coach of the women's lacrosse program at Adrian College. She served as an assistant coach with the program beginning July 2014 after spending one year as assistant coach at Adams State University.

Szymanski coached for a Toledo Girl's Lacrosse travel league during the summer of 2013 and was a volunteer coach at St. Ursula Academy where she attended from 2004-08.

Szymanski played her lacrosse at Adrian College from 2008-12 as a defender. She received a bachelor's degree in physical education with a minor in health and received her Michigan Teacher Certification in physical education K-12 and health 7-12. Szymanski received the Most Improved Player award at Adrian College in 2009. She was a member of a Bulldog program that won the MWLC title in 2011 and 2012 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
