Tehovnik Named Defensive Player of the Week

ROYAL OAK, Mich.  – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Adrian goalkeeper Jul Tehovnik its Defensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for games played through April 27.

Tehovnik, a senior from Sewickley, Pa. (Sewickley Academy), recorded the first shutout ever in an MIAA women's lacrosse contest as the Bulldogs blanked Trine, 20-0, on Wednesday. She led the MIAA this season in goals against average, allowing only five goals per contest, and save percentage at 48.7 percent. Tehovnik is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
