Lambert and Duncan Named MWLC Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Adrian's Olivia Duncan and Amanda Lambert were named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) Players of the Week Monday.

Duncan, a junior attacker from Orangeville, Ontario and Orangeville Secondary (Criminal Justice major), scored 11 goals, along with three assists, four ground balls, one draw control and one caused turnover last week. The Bulldogs went 2-0 over the weekend to clinch at least a share of the MWLC regular season title. Duncan finished with six goals, two assists, three ground balls and one caused turnover in a 20-12 win over Carthage on April 21. She followed that up with five goals, one assist, a ground ball and a draw control in a 20-4 win over Concordia (Wis.) on April 22.

Lambert, a senior midfielder from Sloatsburg, N.Y., and Suffern High School (Marketing major), tallied 17 ground balls, 17 draw controls and two caused turnovers for the Bulldogs last week. She had seven ground balls, eight draw controls and one caused turnover, along with five goals and three assists against Carthage. She followed that up with 10 ground balls, nine draw controls and one caused turnover against Concordia (Wis.). She added three goals and four assists against the Falcons.
