ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's lacrosse team won its home opener 15-11 on a sunny and warm Saturday afternoon at Performance Stadium on St. Partrick's Day. The luck was on the Bulldogs side in the first half as they built a 9-3 lead.
Adrian outshot W&J 26-22 for the game. Rachel Johnston led the Bulldogs with four goals and one assist. Lambert added three goals and one assist. Meghan Reynolds also scored three goals while Heather Newblom notched a pair of goals. Duncan, Stacey Birlson and Hannah Early each scored one goal for Adrian.
The Bulldogs are now 5-1 overall as Laura Finfrock made seven saves in net for AC.
