Olivia Fox Earns First NCHA Offensive Player of the Week Honor

DULUTH, Minn. - Adrian College senior women's hockey player Olivia Fox was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on today (Jan. 23).

The forward was instrumental in the Bulldogs weekend series sweep of Lake Forest as she tallied four points (2G/2A) to help Adrian grab four points and sole possession of the top spot in the conference standings.

Fox scored the game-tying goal in a 4-2 win over the Foresters on Friday. She also tallied an assist on the insurance goal that helped seal the win for Adrian. 

The Massillon, Ohio native registered the only assist on the game-winning goal for Saturday's contest, a 5-2 win for the Bulldogs. She also tallied the lone goal in the third period that gave Adrian the three-goal margin.

This is the first NCHA player of the week award for her career.

Adrian travels to face St. Norbert this Friday and Saturday for a weekend series against the Green Knights. Friday's game is set to begin at 8:00 p.m., EST.
