DE PERE, Wis. – Brooke Lupie and Lexie Tzafaroglou each scored a goal in the second period to push the No. 3 Adrian College Bulldogs passed the Knights of St. Norbert, 2-0. The win puts the current Bulldog streak to fourteen straight.

Adrian has three power play opportunities in the first period but failed to capitalize on them. Both teams would head into the locker room with a 0-0 deadlock.

The Bulldogs would get on the board just a little over five minutes into the second period when Lupi put the puck in the net to give Adrian the 1-0 advantage. She was assisted on the play by Kristin Lewicki and Kaylyn Schroka.

Ten minutes later in the period Tzafaroglou would receive an assist from Michelle Jones and Kristi Zink to double the Bulldog lead.

Jade Walsh stopped all 14 shots she faced in net for the Bulldogs. The 2-0 victory puts her shutout total to five on the season.

The Green Knights goaltender, Leigh Grall, stopped 21-of-23 shots faced between the pipes.

Both teams failed to score on any of their power play opportunities (Adrian 0-for-5 and St. Norbert 0-for-1).

The Bulldogs and Green Knights will face each other again tomorrow, January 30 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
