Women's Golf Places Seventh at MIAA Jamboree #3 in Angola, Ind.

ANGOLA, Ind.--The Adrian College women's golf squad equaled its season low for a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association event with a 351 combined score to finish in seventh place at the MIAA Jamboree #3 hosted by Trine University on the Zollner Golf Course Wednesday. This event was rescheduled from Sept. 28.

Junior Hailey Scott led the way with an 80 for a sixth-place tie overall out of 57 competitors. This marks her third top-10 showing of the 2019-20 campaign so far. Senior Brooke Symons (83, T-15th), sophomores Lauren Yankee (86, T-21st), Alexis Weston (102, 49th) and freshman Hannah Mason (106, T-52nd) rounded out the AC lineup.

In addition, sophomore Audrey Jutis (104, 50th) competed as an individual for the Bulldogs.

For the third-straight time, St. Mary's College-Ind. won the team title with a 312. Nicole Deweyert from third-place (tie) Olivet College was the medalist with a 72. As a team, the Comets had a 334.

Adrian competes again on Thursday at the MIAA Jamboree #4 hosted by Olivet College on The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Mich.
