ADRIAN, Mich.--Sophomore Addison Bergman scored a career-high 14 points off the bench, and junior Arjanae Morgan added 13, to help the Adrian women's basketball team beat visiting Siena Heights, 56-52, on Tuesday, snapping a 10-game losing streak to the Saints who entered the city rivalry game with a 6-0 record on the season.

= Bergman finished 4-of-7 from the field and was 6-for-6 at the free throw stripe. She had two blocked shots and three rebounds.
= Junior Sha'Trice Graves posted a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, plus she had four blocks.
= Morgan dished a game-best six assists and had three steals.
= Junior Rachel Bucher (6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists) also had three steals to lead the team.
= Kiana Votava led all scorers with 15 points on 5-for-10 field goal shooting and 4-for-4 at the free throw stripe. She added six rebounds and three assists.
= Kelsey Wyman added 12 points, team-high eight rebounds, two assists and two steals off the bench.
= Demi Russell led the Saints with four assists to go along with nine points and four rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Morgan sealed the win with two free throws with 5 seconds left after Graves blocked Peyton Banks' layup in an attempt to tie it at 54. Graves also got the defensive rebound, then handed the ball to Morgan who was fouled.
= Siena Heights also had an opportunity to tie the score at 54 with 19 seconds remaining when Anaya Powell was forced into a turnover with Morgan getting the steal.
= Adrian led 38-32--its biggest of the evening--going into the fourth quarter. Siena Heights scored the first seven points in the final stanza to take a 39-38 advantage on a Wyman 3ball with 8 minutes and 18 seconds to go.
= Wyman made two layups and Votava made a three-point lead as SHU built a 46-40 lead at the 5:12 mark of the fourth quarter. Bergman made four free throws and junior Alivia Kondrath made her only trey of the second half that pulled the Bulldogs within 49-47 at 3:04.
= Adrian would eventually go ahead for good when Morgan converted a layup with 60 seconds left, 53-51.
= Siena Heights led by as many as eight points, 15-7, with 9:26 showing on the second-quarter scoreboard. Adrian led 25-23 at halftime.
= The Saints led 12-7 after the opening 10 minutes.
= The hard-fought contest featured four ties and 11 lead changes. The teams were evenly matched as rebounds (AC 37-36), points off turnovers, second-chance points, bench points, field goal percentage and points in the paint were nearly identical.
= At the free throw line, the Bulldogs were 17-for-25 (.680) while the Saints were 12-for-15 (.800).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Siena Heights competes in the NAIA-scholarship Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
= The Bulldogs take a 25-24 all-time series lead against their Adrian city rivals, including a 17-12 mark at home against SHU. Adrian gets its first win of the series since Nov. 25, 2008, 68-58 at home.
= Graves adds to her career blocked shots total to 114--second in school history. She leads the team in scoring at 12 points per game and rebounding at 9.6 rebounds per outing.
= The Adrian defense gives up 58.8 points a game.
