NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind.--Sophomore Rylee Campbell scored 17 points to lead four Bulldogs in double-digits as visiting Adrian used a 31-point fourth quarter to pull away from Manchester, 75-59, in women's basketball non-conference action on Friday. It was the season opener for both schools.

= Campbell finished 5-for-10 from the field, including 5-for-9 from three-point land, and had four rebounds and three assists.
= Morgan, who previously played at Jackson College, was 6-for-14 from the field and chipped in six rebounds and three assists.
= Bucher tied her career-best with six steals to lead all student-athletes.
= Junior Sha'Trice Graves contributed nine rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots.
= Kondrath led all passers with four assists while sophomore Addison Bergman (4 points, 2 blocks, 4 rebounds), Morgan and Campbell had three apiece.
= Nicole Weaver led all scorers with 18 points.
= Haley Farris pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and added seven points.
= Macy Miller led MU with three assists to go along with seven rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian outscored Manchester 31-18 in the fourth quarter while shooting 50 percent from the field (8-16), 57.1 percent from the 3-point arc (4-7) and 68.8 percent from the free throw line (11-16), limiting the Spartans to 35.7 percent from the field.
= After a Weaver trey that tied the score 44-44 and Abby Walker free throw gave the hosts their last lead at 47-46 with 8 minutes and 58 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Adrian erupted for a 16-0 run over a 4:43 span to take a commanding 62-47 lead with 3:20 left to go. Graves made two free throws to put Adrian ahead for good at 48-47, and Bucher keyed the spurt with six points.
= Adrian closed the first half with a 15-6 run to turn a 25-21 deficit into a 36-31 advantage at the intermission.
= The visitors led for all of the third quarter, but no more than five points.
= Adrian shot 43.4 percent from the field (23-53) while holding Manchester to 27.9 (17-61). The Bulldogs also had advantages in rebounding (39-37), assists (17-12), points in the paint (22-14), fastbreak points (11-4) and bench points (30-20).
= There were six ties and eight lead changes until Adrian blew the game open with five minutes to go.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Adrian now leads Manchester 3-1 in the all-time series. The Bulldogs defeated the Spartans in the 2018-19 season opener in Adrian, 62-56, as the schools were meeting for the first time in 18 seasons.
= The Bulldogs are 13-15 in season openers under Coach Kathy Morris.
= Bucher's six steals are tied for 10th in school single-game history and the most in almost four years.
= Manchester is a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
= The Bulldogs return to the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center tomorrow for their home opener against Hiram College, starting at 6 p.m.
