Women's Basketball Picked Sixth in MIAA Preseason Poll

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) released its annual women's basketball preseason poll on Thursday (Nov. 3) in conjunction with a media conference call. Adrian was picked sixth in the nine-team league with a total of 41 poll points. Calvin College received all eight first-place votes followed by Hope (16), Saint Mary's (21), Albion (36) and Olivet (38). The poll was rounded out by Trine (50), Alma (51) and Kalamazoo (63).

The Bulldogs are under the guidance of head coach Kathy Morris set to begin her 20th season on the bench. Adrian returns 11 letterwinners from a year ago and will open the season on Friday, November 18 versus Hanover College at 8:00 PM as part of the Sodexo Classic Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
