Adrian College 2019 Men's Soccer Schedule

ADRIAN, Mich. – Ryan McDonald, who is in his second season as the head coach of the Adrian College men's soccer team, has officially released the squad's 2019 schedule.

In his first season at the helm of the Bulldog's program last fall, McDonald led Adrian to an 8-8-1 record to set a school record for most wins by a first-year head coach.

A slate that will see 17 contests, 2019 features nine home games and eight road tilts, with all seven of its conference contests taking place in the month of October. Regular season play kicks off on Sunday, September 1 at 3:30 p.m. as AC travels to Franklin.

Following its matchup with the Grizzlies of Franklin College, the Bulldogs will take part in the Wilmington College Kiwanis Classic, facing off with the hosts on September 6 and Wabash on September 7.

Its last road tilt before a four-game home stand will take place at Heidelberg on September 11, set for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.

The four home games will take place between September 14 and 22, featuring Michigan-Dearborn, Rochester (Mich.), Case Western and Wittenberg. September rounds out with a road match at Ohio Northern at 7 p.m. on the 25th and a home contest with Mt. St. Joseph at 3 p.m. on the 28th.

Conference play commences on October 8 with a 7 p.m. home matchup with Kalamazoo, followed by two road contests with Olivet and Albion.

The Bulldogs return home on October 19 as they host the defending Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) champions and national runner-up, Calvin for a 12 p.m. match. The squad remains home as it takes on Trine in a 7 p.m. contest on the 22nd, then hits the road on the 26th for a game at Alma.

Regular season play comes to an end on October 30, as AC hopes to capitalize on home field advantage on a 7 p.m. meeting with Hope.

The MIAA tournament's first round is set to begin November 2.
