ADRIAN, Mich.--Freshmen Chris French and Peyton Gasche each scored 10 points to tie the Adrian College single-game scoring record as the Bulldogs overwhelmed visiting La Roche, 24-2, in non-conference men's lacrosse action on Sunday.

= French ended up with a game-high seven goals and three assists, while Gasche scored three times and dished seven assists.
= Freshman Grant Nesbitt posted career highs of five goals and six points.
= Sophomore Fernando Rodriguez tallied four goals and three assists for seven total points--all career bests.
= Freshman Max Leventis won 23 of 28 face-offs and scooped up 19 ground balls, and he had two assists.
= Classmate Travis Fox chipped in a hat trick, assist and six ground balls.
= Chris Sylvis made 26 saves and had six ground balls in the LC cage.
= Brent Burkhouse scored a goal and had an assist.
= Shawn McDanel contributed five ground balls and he had three of La Roche's five caused turnovers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian darted to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter and did not allow a La Roche offensive possession until 2 minutes and 15 seconds remaining as the Bulldogs never looked back.
= The Bulldogs scored four goals on eight extra-man opportunities.
= Adrian also dominated statistical advantages in shots (67-11), shots on goal (50-5), ground balls (60-26), face-off wins (24-5), turnovers (18-36) and clears (20-for-23, 16-for-34).
= Nesbitt connected on three of Adrian's first four goals in a span of 5 minutes and 11 seconds to spark the Bulldogs. That was part of a first quarter that Adrian outshot La Roche 21-0 and outscored the Redhawks 9-0.
= Adrian built a 15-1 lead at the halftime break. Devin Wolford scored on a feed from Brent Burkhouse to get the visitors on the scoreboard at the 5:05 mark of the second quarter, snapping a string of 13 goals for the home team.
= A highlight of the second half was Hull's first career goal with 24 seconds left in the third quarter. He forced a turnover in his defensive zone and scooped up the ground ball, racing up field to find the back of the cage, unassisted.
