HOW IT HAPPENED
= Nong-Lambert scored on the power-play with 7 minutes and 20 seconds left in regulation for the go-ahead goal.
= Adrian had a good look to get the potential game-tying goal with 2.2 seconds remaining. Sophomore Trevor Boyd won the face-off on the right face-off dot to Brothers, who ripped a shot from the right wing that UWSP goalie Max Milosek saved.
= The Pointers went 2-for-5 with the man-advantage and killed off all four Bulldog power plays.
= The two teams combined for four goals in the first period. Freshman Vincent Paquette notched his eighth of the season at 6:24 when he was left all alone in front of the goal, taking a feed from Boyd below the goal line in the right corner. Sharkey and Stephan Beauvais scored 3:33 apart to take a 2-1 lead with 4:09 left before Brothers scored on a mini-breakaway to knot things up at 2-all after 20 minutes.
= In the second period, Ethan Strong gave UWSP back the lead, 3-2, with a power-play goal on the backhand just 2:02 in.
= However, Brothers answered for Adrian 2:03 later on a breakaway goal along the right wing, beating Milosek between the leg pads. Freshman Tyler Currie earned an assist. The score was tied 3-3.
= The Pointers led 33-31 in shots on goal.
= Sophomore Bryan Yim had a golden opportunity to give Adrian a 4-3 lead in the second period, but his shot hit left post from close range at 4:50 remaining on the clock.
