WEST OLIVE, Mich.--The Adrian College men's golf squad had a team score of 302 to finish fourth at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #8 hosted by Hope College at the Wuskowhan Players Club on Tuesday.
Senior Nick Hocker and freshman Andrew Skibski paced the Bulldogs with an identical score of 72 (+1), which was just two strokes behind medalist Cody Knapp from Trine University. The AC duo was tied for fourth overall. Skibski was tied for first at the turn with a score of 34 after nine holes.
Also contributing to the total team score for Adrian were Mo Harb (74, T-10th) and junior Jordan Juday (84, T-36th). Sophomore Zak Hart was also in the five-man lineup while shooting an 87 for a tie for 42nd place, and freshman Jack Stover competed as an individual with an 83 (35th).
Calvin College won this afternoon with a 292, followed by Hope (300), Trine (300), Adrian, Albion College (305), Kalamazoo College (306), Olivet College (326) and Alma College (330).
Hope won the overall title for the fall season.
The course was par-71 for 6977 yards.
