ADRIAN, Mich.--Adrian College athletics director Michael Duffy announced on Thursday that Bulldogs Football will have four home games carried live by regional provider Buckeye Cable Sports Network. The exclusive renewal agreement signals the seventh year of the media partnership between Adrian Athletics and BCSN, and the video feed of the games will also stream live on Adrian College Television (ACTV).
BCSN, with a full production crew and on-air talent to be determined, will televise the following contests from 3,500-seat Docking Stadium: Buffalo State (Sep. 8, 1 p.m.), Olivet (Oct. 6, 4 p.m.--Homecoming), Albion (Oct. 20, 5 p.m.), and the regular-season finale against Hope (Nov. 10, 1 p.m.--Senior Day). The broadcasts sure will delight the viewers as the stadium underwent a field surface replacement during the summer.
"We are excited that this arrangement with BCSN continues, helping Adrian College reach a talent-rich area of northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan," commented Duffy. "Our recruiting efforts in Greater Toledo have yielded many great student-athletes over the years. Showing our games on BCSN is a great recruiting tool. We have a great product here at Adrian College and want to showcase it with a great organization in the business of promoting young people."
All of the games will air four times over BCSN and BCSN 2 on Buckeye Broadband, plus made available On-Demand and on the Watch BCSN app. BCSN has been covering local sports since its founding in 2003, and is widely regarded as a top-notch regional sports network covering teams such as the Toledo Mud Hens, NCAA Division I Bowling Green State University Falcons/ University of Toledo Rockets, Toledo Walleye, and numerous high school athletic events.
"Our relationship with Adrian College over these many years has been incredible. We at BCSN have the highest regard for the talented administrators, coaches, teachers, and student-athletes at Adrian," commented Tom Cole, who retires as a BCSN Host and Community Development Coordinator. "We are thrilled to be able to bring these football broadcasts from Adrian in a facility that is one of the best in (NCAA) Division III. The College has been able to find the perfect balance between academics and athletics. All of us at BCSN and our TV viewers are again looking forward to the football season at Adrian."
Adrian opens its 114th season on Sep. 1 at Ohio Northern University in Ada.
