HOW IT HAPPENED

The Bulldogs trailed for the entirety of first half, despite spending a majority of the time within a handful of points.

Earlham controlled most of the second half, but a 10-point run by AC brought the game with three (68-65). Connor Pelham began the scoring for the Bulldogs, posting two free throws before collecting a jump shot. Jordan Harris then put up a pair of free throws of his own. The run was capped off a free throw and made three by Trey Helinski.

Trailing by eight heading into the final two minutes of regulation, Adrian posted an impressive offensive effort, kicked off by Robert Warrick with a layup to make it 76-70. It was all Harris following, posting a jump shot and layup before Adrian called a timeout with 22 seconds remaining on the clock.

Coming out of the stoppage, the Quakers made a free throw to push it to 77-74 with 18 seconds remaining. The Indianapolis, Ind. native put up a near buzzer-beating three to tie the game and send it into overtime.

Much like regulation, the visitors never trailed, owning at least a four-point lead for the majority of the period, eventually collecting a 102-94 win.
