Men's Hoops' Kalonji Lands on All-MIAA Second Team

FREELAND, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced the 2017-18 All-MIAA men's basketball selections today, and Adrian College junior forward Jeremy Kalonji was named to the All-MIAA Second Team for the second year in a row.

Kalonji improved on his strong year from last year, bumping his scoring average up from 13.8 PPG to 18.0, putting him fifth in the conference. The second-year player totaled 433 points, also for fifth in the conference, putting him at 792 points heading into his senior season. Kalonji made a living getting to the free throw line, with 108 of his 433 points coming from the charity stripe, the most in the MIAA. He grabbed 51 offensive rebounds to finish second in the conference and blocked 26 shots for fourth in the MIAA.
