Top-10 of 2015-16: #8 @AdrianBaseball Ties MIAA Record with Eighth Championship in a Row

ADRIAN, Mich.--For the next two weeks, we'll count down the top-10 Adrian College Athletics stories on from the 2015-16 academic year. Thanks to our visitors for submitting nominations on our Facebook, Twitter pages and via email. So without further ado, drumroll please....

The No. 8 entry on our countdown is Baseball and its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association-tying eighth consecutive conference championship. (Alma was the MIAA champion from 1951 to 1958.) The Bulldogs, who finished with a 30-12 overall record for their ninth 30-win season in a row, won the conference by six games.

The 2016 campaign also saw Adrian sweep the individual player awards as All-American Ryan Dorow earned the Position Player of the Year for the second time in three years and Tommy Parsons was named the Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore.

Led by all-region standouts Ian Mikowski, Dorow and Parsons, Adrian set school records with a NCAA Division III-topping .438 on-base percentage, 228 walks and 366 runs scored.
