FREELAND, Mich. - Adrian College men's track athlete Jordan Davis was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
The sophomore set two personal best times on his way to three individual top 10 finishes and one top five finish as a member of a relay team.
Davis's best finish came as a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished fourth with a time 3:29.20. He finished fifth in both the high jump (1.93m) and the 100-meter hurdles (14.76). His time in the hurdles and his sixth place finish in the 200-meter dash (22.28) were personal bests.
This is Jordan's fourth MIAA athlete of the week recognition in his career, third this season.
Davis and the rest of the Adrian College track and field team will compete at the MIAA Outdoor Championships this week. Events are set to begin on Thursday and will conclude on Friday.
