Bulldog Track and Field Compete at Hillsdale "Gina" Relays

HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Adrian College men's and women's track and field team competed at the Hillsdale "Gina" Relays Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

ADRIAN MEN TOP TEN FINISHES

Randy Fry finished fifth in the men's 100 meter dash with a time of 11.06

Blake Hairston finished the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.38 seconds, good enough for seventh place

• Hairston and Tyler Bruce each finished in the top ten in the 400 meter dash (Hairston finished 2nd (49.93), Bruce 9th (52.61))

Jordan Davis finished 7th in the 110 meter hurdles championship in 15.03 seconds

• Davis also finished 1st in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.28

David Comiska finished the 3000 meter steeplechase in 10:31.84, 9th place

Scott Campbell cleared 6-feet 4-inches in the high jump to earn fifth place

Bryan Reed jumped 38-feet 6.25-inches in the triple jump (6th place)

Jordan Simon placed 4th in the discus, throwing 156-feet and 4-inches

ADRIAN WOMEN TOP TEN FINISHES

• The Bulldogs had two finishes in the top ten in the women's 100 meter dash, Rachel Dolphin finished 6th (12.61) and Natalie Modes finished 10th (12.84)

Takiyah Smith earned 7th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.17

Emily Campbell placed 5th in the javelin throw with a throw of 109-feet and 2-inches

• Adrian heads Olivet next weekend, Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6 to compete in the MIAA Championship Meet
