Adrian Track and Field Competed in the Hillsdale “Wide-Track” Classic

HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Adrian College track and field team competed in the two-day Hillsdale "Wide-Track" Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Jordan Davis finished seventh in the men's 60 meter hurdles finals with a time of 8.63. He finished second place in his preliminaries heat 2 with a time of 8.43, his second best time of the season in that event.

The men's 4 x 400 relay team of Davis, Blake Hairston, Tyler Bruce and Josh Pascoe-Davison finished fifth with a time of 3:34.23.

On the women's side, Takiyah Smith finished fourth in the 400 meter with a time of 1:02.46, her career best in the event.

Olivia Vasiloff also set a career best time in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 11:38.39, good for a fifth place finish.

Alicia Szilagyi finished third in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 20:12.85, the fastest time in her career for indoor and second best of her career.

The team travels to Grand Rapids next Friday, February 12 to compete in the Grand Valley State Big Meet Select. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.
