Acrobatics and Tumbling Scores Season-High on Senior Day

ADRIAN, MICH. -- The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team hosted Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday, March 10 in the final home meet of the season. The Falcons tallied 238.990 points to the Bulldogs 229.720 to earn the victory on Adrian College senior day.

CUW gained the advantage following the compulsory event when the team took a 33.50-29.70 lead. Adrian achieved high scores of 9.50 in both the pyramid and toss heats to keep the score close after the first event.

With scores of 8.80 (5 Element), 8.50 (6 Element), and 8.85 (7 Element) the Bulldogs took a total of 26.15 in the acro event while the Falcons held onto the lead with a 26.55 event score. The running score at the half was 89.10, Falcons, 81.55, Bulldogs.

Following halftime was the toss event in which Adrian tallied 24.40 points and CUW registered 26.00. The Bulldogs finished the tumbling event with a score of 41.550 while the Falcons finished with 45.300.

Wrapping up the meet with the team routine, Adrian marked a season-high 82.22 in the event to give the team a final score of 229.720 (also a season-high).

The Bulldogs will travel to face Georgetown (Ky.) two weeks from today on March 24. The meet is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., ET.
