Women's Volleyball Chosen to Finish Third in MIAA Preseason Poll

FREELAND, Mich. - The Adrian College women's volleyball team finished third in points on the Michigian Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) preseaon poll that was released by the league office on Thursday.

Calvin tops the poll with 64 points (8 first-place votes). Hope finished second with 55 points (1 first-place vote). The Bulldogs had 49 points and were followed by St. Mary's with 45 to round out the top four. Albion 34, Alma 32, Trine 19, Olivet 17, and Kalamazoo 9 finished off the poll.

Adrian opens the regular season at Bluffton for the Summer Spiketacular on Friday, September 1. The Bulldogs will play host, Bluffton, at 2:00 p.m., before finishing day one against DePauw at 6:00 p.m., ET.
