Women’s tennis team continues to roll winning six of last seven

TIFFIN, Ohio – The women's tennis team (6-2) had a convincing win over Heidelberg University (1-2), 7-2, Sunday.

Jordenne Ferenczi teamed up with Karen Kienitz to pick up a key 8-6 victory at No. 2 doubles. Ferenczi continued her success on the singles court cruising to 6-0, 6-2 wins over Sara Potts in No. 3 singles.

Due to illness, Heidelberg had to default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

"The girls came out and played well today against Heidelberg. I was extremely pleased with how we competed in singles and continue to take steps forward in doubles," said head women's tennis coach Adam Albertsen.

"Jordenne Ferenczi provided senior leadership again by picking up wins in the singles and doubles competition and helped seal the match for us. Arielle, Justine and Jordyn all picked up impressive straight set singles wins and played at a very high level today," added Albertsen.

The team's next match is Monday, March 4th, against Catholic University at Hilton Head, S.C.
