Tennis Hosts Mixed Doubles Tournament

The Adrian College men's and women's tennis teams wrapped up the fall season with the Bulldogs Mixed Doubles Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Craft Tennis Complex. Adam Williams (Sophomore) and Renata Shelton (Freshmen) defeated Sarah Kean (Senior) and Drew Schultz (Sophomore) in the finals 9-7. Williams and Shelton paired up to go a perfect 4-0 for the tournament.

Alex Ziajor (Senior) and Kristin Stowers (Sophomore) claimed third place by defeating Tom Smendzuik (Sophomore) and Shannon Woods (Senior) 8-6. Ziajor and Stowers finished the day 3-1.

The men's team will open up the spring season on the road at Calumet College on February 19. The Lady Bulldogs will begin play on February 11 when they head to Ohio Northern University.
