Chitwood Named to All-Central Region Team

ADRIAN, Mich. - Senior Lindsay Chitwood (St. Clair Shores,Mich./Lakeview) has been named Third Team All-Central Region as announced by the NSCAA on December 9th. Chitwood made school history by becoming the first Bulldog to reach this accomplishment.

"I would like to congratulate Lindsay for this outstanding athletic achievement," said athletic director Mike Duffy. "This honor could not go to a better person or student-athlete. Lindsay started something special here for our women's soccer program and for that we are thankful."

Chitwood led the team and the MIAA in points this season with 30. She scored a team-high 11 goals and added eight assists. The First Team All-MIAA selection scored six game-winning goals for the Bulldogs.

Chitwood graduates as the all-time leader in school history with 44 goals, 104 points, 18 game-winning goals and 16 assists. She was a four-time All-MIAA selection and was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week in week four this season.
