HOW IT HAPPENED

Adrian opened the scoring in the 13th minute when sophomore Megan Louwers found the back of the net. Junior Caroline Fleming sent a cross in from the left side that bounced off the keeper and found its way right to Louwers who was able to knock it home.

The Bulldogs doubled their lead in the 25th minute when senior Rachel Rodeheffer used her head to make it 2-0. Sophomore Angela Davis took a corner kick from the left side and Rodeheffer was able to jump over the North Central defense to head the ball in for the 2-0 lead to take into half.

It wouldn't take long for the Black and Gold to strike in the second half, as Rodeheffer headed home her second of the night in the 47th minute. On a play that was almost identical to AC's second goal, Davis took a corner from the left side and found Rodeheffer in the box to seal the game at 3-0.

QUOTABLE

"North Central is another quality non-conference opponent on our schedule and they play in one of the toughest leages in the country. We knew we would have to match their energy and physicality to get a result we wanted. I thought our midfield was exceptional today, they found the right balance between a quick tempo and controlled possession and just contantly put our attack in positive spaces." – Head Coach Ali Alamdari
