Patti Vaassen Named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week

Patti Vaassen, a sophomore from Ann Arbor (Saline HS), played strong all-around contests in helping Adrian split two MIAA games. In a 2-1 win over Olivet, she helped control the midfield area, assisted on the first goal and scored the game-winning goal off a free kick in the second half. Vaassen is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
