Bulldogs Split a Pair of Fall Scrimmages

NIAGARA, N.Y. - The women's lacrosse team had a fall tune-up this past weekend as they traveled to take on Division I Niagara and Canisius.

The Bulldogs defeated Niagara, 14-7, in the first scrimmage and led 9-5 at halftime. Lindsey Day scored the first goal for Adrian at the 2:25 mark of the first half. She ended up with three goals versus Niagara. Rachel Johnston had four goals to lead the team and Amanda Lambert also chipped in three goals. Lambert also led the team with three assists.

The Bulldogs fell 21-8 against Canisius in the second scrimmage after trailing 14-2 at the break. Johnston added four more goals in the nightcap and Stacey Birlson, Lambert and Day each also scored for the black and gold. Laura Finfrock made eight saves in net.
