ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Bulldog women's hockey team dropped to 5-6-2 overall after a 4-0 loss to top-ranked Rochester Institute of Technology Friday night in Rochester, N.Y. With the win, RIT improved their perfect record to 13-0 and recorded their fifth shutout of the season.
Adrian did manage to get 14 shots on goal in the contest. Senior forward Olivia Rork and senior defenseman Kelly Salis led the team both getting three shots a piece. The Bulldogs played two goalies in the contest as sophomore Emily Michelin and senior Brittany Zeches both gave up two goals. Zeches was in on 29 saves in 40 minutes as Michelin had nine saves in 20 minutes.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow at Frank Ritter Memorial Ice Arena. The Bulldogs and Tigers will face off at 3:00 p.m.
