Women's @ACBulldogGolf Wraps Up Busy Day at the Denison University Lynn Schweizer Invitational

GRANVILLE, Ohio--The Adrian College women's golf team made its season debut this weekend at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational hosted by Denison University here at the Denison Golf Club. The Bulldogs were in 12th place with a 378+382=760. Today made for a long day as teams were forced to play 27 holes after Saturday's first round was limited to nine due to rain.

Senior Alysa Graf led Adrian with a 94+88=182 to finish 46th overall out of 87 individuals. She was followed by junior Sierra Woodcum (92+95=187, T-53rd), senior Elizabeth Barrett (96+99=195, T-63rd) and junior Libby Dusenbery (96+100=196, T-66th).

DePauw won the team title with a 327+310=637, six over par. Jane Hopkinson-Wood from second-place Wittenberg won medalist after firing a 75+75=148 (+6) on the par 71, 5,824-yard course.

The Bulldogs hit the links again on Friday and Saturday, Sep. 8-9 at the Kyle Campbell Invitational. The two-round event is hosted by Olivet College at the Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Mich., with Day 1 starting at 11 a.m. before concluding at 9 a.m. the next day.
