Emily Bristow Guides Women's Golf at MIAA Jamboree#3 in Saugatuck

SAUGATUCK, Mich.--The Adrian College women's golf team finished in eighth place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree#3 on Tuesday at the Ravines Golf Club hosted by Hope College.

The Bulldogs were led by senior Emily Bristow who carded an 87 to tie for 18th-place overall, getting her second team win of the 2016-17 season. The rest of the Adrian foursome included freshman Brooke Symons (96, T-31st), sophomore Sierra Woodcum (101, T-37th) and junior Elizabeth Barrett (109, T-47th).

Home team Hope (322) wins with a 322, finishing one stroke ahead of second-place Olivet (323). The Flying Dutch's Megan Klintworth was medalist at 75 (+3).

Adrian returns to the links on Saturday (1 p.m.) for the MIAA Jamboree#4 at Pine River Country Club in Alma and hosted by Alma College.
